Lake and Forest in the Hills

Yercaud sits at around 1,500 metres in the Shevaroy Hills of the Eastern Ghats in Tamil Nadu, and its name joins the Tamil words for lake and forest.

Coffee estates, orange groves, cool air and quiet viewpoints make it one of South India’s most relaxed hill stations.
